Equipment

  • 1 Fine-mesh strainer For a smoother tea texture
  • 1 Medium bowl For mashing strawberries
  • 1 Saucepan or kettle To boil water
  • 1 Spoon or muddler To mash strawberries
  • 2 Tall glasses or jars For serving the tea

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries Hulled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 cups Water For tea
  • 2 Black tea bags Or 2 teaspoon loose-leaf tea
  • 2 tablespoon Sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk Or oat/almond milk for vegan
  • 0.5 cup Cooked tapioca pearls Optional
  • Ice cubes For serving
  • Extra strawberries For garnish

Instructions

  • Mash strawberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  • Steep tea in hot water and let it cool.
  • Mix the cooled tea, whole milk, and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Add the mashed strawberry base and stir to combine.
  • Strain mixture into serving glasses.
  • Add ice cubes and optional cooked tapioca pearls.
  • Garnish with extra strawberries and enjoy!
