Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth; spoon into pastry wells.
Heat jam with cornstarch 2–3 mins, fold in strawberries, spoon over cream cheese.
Brush pastry edges with egg/milk wash.
Bake 15–18 mins until golden and puffed.
Drizzle with optional glaze after cooling slightly.
