For the Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup Powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoon Milk Adjust for consistency
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Whisk flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, red food coloring, and vinegar.
  • Fold wet into dry until just combined; don’t overmix.
  • Pour ¼ cup batter on medium-heat skillet; cook 2–3 min each side.
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stack pancakes and drizzle with cream cheese glaze.
