  • 1 Fine-mesh strainer
  • 1 Microplane Grater
  • 1 Large pitcher
  • 1 Citrus Juicer

Ingredients

Essential Ingredients

  • 8 cups Water Divided – 4 cups for simmering, 4 cold
  • 4 Cinnamon sticks Whole sticks, not ground
  • 2 Oranges Juice + zest
  • 4 Black tea bags Optional – skip for herbal version
  • 3 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes For serving
  • Orange slices For garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks For garnish

Instructions

  • Grate orange zest and squeeze juice, then set aside.
  • Simmer Base – Boil 4 cups of water with cinnamon and zest for 10 mins.
  • Steep Tea – Add tea bags, cover, and steep 3–5 mins.
  • Strain Mix – Strain solids, stir in sweetener, juice, and cold water.
  • Chill Time – Refrigerate for 2 hours until cold.
  • Serve Iced – Pour over ice, garnish, and enjoy.
