Ingredients

  • 12 large Medjool dates pitted
  • ¼ cup warm water for soaking, reserve soaking water
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter or nut butter of choice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • sea salt optional, for salted caramel flavor

Instructions

  • Pit and soak dates in warm water for 10 min
  • Add dates, soaking water, and almond butter to blender
  • Add vanilla and salt, pulse until smooth
  • Adjust consistency with more water or dates
