Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • 1 small Onion Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 8 oz Mushrooms Sliced optional
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour For thickening sauce
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Preferably low sodium
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Adds depth of flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Enhances the sauce
  • 2 cups Egg Noodles Uncooked
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Full-fat for best results
  • To taste Salt & Pepper Adjust as needed
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onions, cook until soft, then add garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Sprinkle flour over beef mixture, stir, and cook for 1 minute.
  • Slowly pour in beef broth, add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard, stirring constantly.
  • Bring to a simmer and let the sauce thicken for 2 minutes.
  • Add uncooked egg noodles, stir to submerge, then cover and cook for 7-9 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until fully blended.
  • Taste, adjust seasonings if needed, and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
