Ingredients

Filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Strawberries Diced, fresh or thawed and patted dry
  • 2 tablespoon Strawberry jam

Sandwiches

  • 8 White bread Crusts removed
  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • ¼ cup Milk To thin egg coating
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon Optional
  • 2 tablespoon Butter For frying
  • ¼ cup Graham crumbs Optional, for edge coating

For Serving

  • Powdered sugar For dusting
  • Sliced strawberries For garnish
  • Maple syrup/honey Optional drizzle

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries and jam.
  • Spread filling on 4 slices of bread, then top with remaining slices. Press edges to seal.
  • In a shallow dish, whisk eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
  • Coat each sandwich in egg mixture (and graham cracker crumbs if using).
  • Heat butter in skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Place on paper towels to remove excess butter. Cut, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy.
