Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread cubes preferably day-old brioche or challah
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk whole milk or your preferred milk
  • cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • butter for greasing the muffin tin
  • powdered sugar optional, for garnish
  • maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease muffin tin with butter.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  • Add bread cubes and let soak 15–20 min.
  • Spoon mixture evenly into muffin cups.
  • Bake 25–28 minutes until golden.
  • Cool slightly before serving.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle maple syrup.
