  • 1 Mixing bowl

  • 1 Fine-mesh sieve

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour heat-treated for safety
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup Brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • cup Unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
  • 2–3 tablespoon Milk any type
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Mini chocolate chips
  • Optional mix-ins chopped nuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies

Instructions

  • Heat-treat flour to 165°F and cool
  • Cream butter and sugars
  • Add vanilla and milk
  • Sift in dry ingredients
  • Mix until thick
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Chill 30 min if desired
  • Serve and enjoy
