Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 large Medjool dates pitted and softened
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips 70% cacao or higher
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • ½ cup roasted peanuts roughly chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil for smoother chocolate
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon chopped almonds or walnuts

Instructions

  • Press pitted dates into a parchment-lined 8x8 inch baking dish.
  • Spread peanut butter over dates and sprinkle chopped peanuts.
  • Melt chocolate (with coconut oil if using) and pour over peanut butter layer. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes until fully set.
  • Cut into rustic squares and serve.
