Ingredients

  • 3 large avocados ripe, pitted, scooped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped fresh
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon avocado oil for cooking
  • ¼ cup red onion optional, diced
  • 1 small jalapeño optional, finely diced
  • ¼ cup feta cheese optional, crumbled

Instructions

  • Mash avocado with all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until combined.
  • Shape mixture into patties and chill for 15 minutes.
  • Heat avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
