Ingredients

  • 1 lb Large shrimp Peeled and deveined (21–25 count)
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil For searing
  • 12 oz Linguine pasta Or fettuccine/penne
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 Garlic cloves Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning Store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes Adjust to taste
  • Salt & black pepper To taste
  • 2 Green onions Chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley Chopped
  • Lemon wedges For serving

Instructions

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water.
  • Pat shrimp dry, toss with Cajun seasoning, and sear until golden.
  • Melt butter, sauté garlic, and bloom Cajun seasoning in the same skillet.
  • Stir in cream, simmer gently until slightly thickened.
  • Toss pasta into sauce, fold in parmesan, adjust with pasta water.
  • Add shrimp, season, garnish with herbs, and serve with lemon.
