Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned oats work best
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • ¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries optional
  • ½ cup fresh berries optional
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, for extra sweetness

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the pie dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  • Stir in oats and melted butter. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb.
  • Pour mixture into prepared dish. Bake 25–30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in center.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Top with optional berries, nuts, or honey.
