Ingredients

For the Blondie Base

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted cooled slightly
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed light or dark
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract pure vanilla preferred
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour spooned & leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar for the top crust
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon freshly ground preferred
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter brushed on top

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until combined.
  • Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just mixed.
  • Spread batter evenly into pan.
  • Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly.
  • Bake 22–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is soft.
  • Cool 15 minutes before slicing.
