Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe bananas mashed
  • cup Melted butter slightly cooled
  • ¾ cup Sugar white or brown
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips coated in 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon Flour for coating chips

Optional Enhancers

  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon optional
  • ¼ cup Chopped walnuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon Sour cream for extra moisture

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease loaf pan
  • Mash bananas and coat chocolate chips in flour
  • Mix bananas with melted butter, egg, sugar, and vanilla
  • Stir in baking soda and salt
  • Gently fold in flour, then chocolate chips
  • Pour into pan and bake 55–65 minutes
  • Cool in pan 10 min then transfer to rack
