Ingredients

  • 4 Croissants Fresh or slightly day-old
  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 4 slices Cheese Swiss ,cheddar, or American
  • 8 slices Ham or bacon Cooked
  • 2 tablespoon Butter For cooking eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground
  • 1 handful Baby spinach Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice croissants horizontally without cutting all the way through.
  • Warm croissants in the oven for 3-4 minutes.
  • Cook bacon or ham in a skillet until crispy or warmed through.
  • Melt butter in a pan and scramble eggs until soft and fluffy.
  • Season eggs with salt and black pepper.
  • Assemble sandwiches: Layer ham, eggs, and cheese inside the croissant.
  • Wrap in foil and place in oven for 2-3 minutes to melt cheese (optional).
