Apple Filling

  • 6 medium Apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup Old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Cold butter cubed
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Peel and slice apples, then toss with sugar, spices, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  • Mix oats, flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  • Transfer apple mixture to baking dish and top with crumble.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
