  • 1 Citrus Juicer
  • 1 Wooden spoon or muddler

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries frozen okay but fresh gives best color and flavor
  • 2 tablespoon dried culinary lavender food-grade only
  • 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed about 6–8 lemons
  • ¾ cup honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • 6 cups water divided 2 for syrup, 1 for berries, 3 for mixing
  • ice cubes for serving
  • garnish blueberries, lemon slices, and lavender sprigs

Instructions

  • Combine 2 cups of water and sweetener in a saucepan and simmer until dissolved.
  • Add lavender buds, cover, and steep for 30 minutes. Strain and let cool.
  • Simmer blueberries with 1 cup of water until soft, then blend and strain.
  • In a pitcher, mix lavender syrup, blueberry puree, and lemon juice.
  • Add 3 cups cold water. Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste.
  • Refrigerate for 2+ hours to let flavors meld.
  • Serve over ice with garnish.
