Ingredients

fresh blueberries
frozen okay but fresh gives best color and flavor

dried culinary lavender
food-grade only

lemon juice
freshly squeezed about 6–8 lemons

honey or sugar
adjust to taste

divided 2 for syrup, 1 for berries, 3 for mixing
ice cubes for serving
garnish
blueberries, lemon slices, and lavender sprigs
Instructions
Combine 2 cups of water and sweetener in a saucepan and simmer until dissolved.
Add lavender buds, cover, and steep for 30 minutes. Strain and let cool.
Simmer blueberries with 1 cup of water until soft, then blend and strain.
In a pitcher, mix lavender syrup, blueberry puree, and lemon juice.
Add 3 cups cold water. Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste.
Refrigerate for 2+ hours to let flavors meld.
Serve over ice with garnish.
