  • 1 Measuring cup or spoon (to press bread)
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Small bowl (optional)
  • 1 Parchment paper (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 Bread slices Thick-cut like brioche or Texas toast best
  • 2 Large Eggs fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Butter Or cooking spray
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 pinch Pepper Freshly ground
  • 3 tablespoon Cheese optional; Shredded cheddar or mozzarella

Instructions

  • 1 Preheat air fryer to 350°F for 2–3 minutes
  • 2 Butter both sides of bread slices
  • 3 Press down the center of each slice to make a nest
  • 4 Crack one egg into the center of each slice
  • 5 Season with salt and pepper
  • 6 Air fry for 4–7 minutes depending on yolk preference
  • 7 Add cheese during the last 1–2 minutes (optional)
  • 8 Carefully remove with spatula and serve immediately
